FAPCCI’s Sep 22 meet to focus on shipping, logistics

Federation of Andhra Pradesh Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FAPCCI) is hosting its first edition of International Conference on Shipping and Logistics - a multidisciplinary conference in association with the Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises, here on September 22.

The objective of this conference is to deliberate on policy issues, discuss opportunities and challenges of the logistics industry, focusing on innovations in concept, model, method and tools for shipping and logistics. With PM’s Gati Shakti initiatives by the Central Government as stepping stones to progress and introduction of Logistics Policy by Andhra Pradesh, there is a great scope of development in the shipping and logistics sector.

The conference will provide an opportunity to synergize the growth exponentially by shipping companies, port authority, logistic service providers, MMLPs and other stakeholders.

As a prelude to the conference, CV Atchut Rao, immediate past president and Kankatala Mallikhurjuna Rao, vice president, FAPCCI made a courtesy call on Dr M Angamuthu, Chairman, Visakhapatnam Port Authority (VPA). FAPCCI said Minister for Industries Gudivada Amarnath will be the chief guest at the conference.
